Another และ Other จะมีหลักการใช้ที่แตกต่างกัน 4 รูปแบบดังนี้ค่ะ 

1. Another + N.singular   แปลว่า  อีกอันหนึ่ง  ที่ไม่ชี้เฉพาะเจาะจงนะคะ

2. Others + N.plural หรือ other แปลว่าอีกที่เหลือไม่เจาะจงเช่นกันค่ะ

3. The other + N.singular หรือ the other แปลว่า อีก"หนึ่งอัน"ที่เหลือ ที่คนพูดกับคนฟังรู้กันว่าคืออันไหน

4. The others + N.Plural หรือ the other แปลว่า อีก"หลายอัน"ที่เหลือ ที่คนพูดกับคนฟังรู้กันว่าคืออันไหน
